Mood Altering Drug

Exercise!  It is mood-altering.  I've been low all week, and not exercising as much as I should, so hubby finally got tired of that, and took me to the park after work.  We only played basketball for 15-20 minutes, but it was enough to get sweaty and feel a bit better.  I was so lethargic, that I didn't play as long as usual, but it was enough for today.  It may me feel like writing again, and that's a positive mood-changer as well.

Do something you are passionate about.

Along with exercise, I write.  However, I didn't realize what a drug it is until just a few months ago.  I finished the April A to Z blog challenge, while finishing my book for publication, and I was so "up" every day.  Fulfilling your passion, even working on it, can boost your mood as no drug can.  It's better than Prozac, without the terrible side effects...  So, exercise and do something you've always wanted to do.  Mine is pottery, next.
