Getting Stronger

After 2 solid weeks of exercising, 10 days out of the 14, I can report that I do feel better.  I breathe easier, I can tackle the stairs just a bit better, and I have more stamina.  I wake up in the morning and actually want to do stuff.  You know?  That's kinda crazy!  Old sedentary me is mourning her loss.  HA!  Yeah right!  I don't miss the me from two weeks ago.  Even my mood is better, and to a bipolar, menopausal woman - that a good thing!  I have enough trouble with being moody, but I have been a lot happier lately.

As a matter of fact, I think I'll go clean.  I was going to go back to sleep, but I started writing this to get one out there, and now I am more awake!  Maybe if I curl in with the best blanket ever!  NO, I should go clean, get it over with, and start my day.  Perhaps Kev will want to play basketball when I get back. SEE?  I'm already thinking of exercising.  Who is this woman?

  1. you hold on to Kev. make him hug you when you want to cry or feel bad and let him tell you things will be alright. Wish I had someone to do that for me..it's not a cure..but it is a help! Remember how good you are feeling and if all you do is a mile walk a day you will keep feeling that way. Do things like when you food shop walk up and down every aisle even when you need very little things, just for the walking! Loosing weight really isn't a goal anyone needs.. but feeling good is. With luck both can happen!

  3. Hi Veronica, found you via the A-Z. I love your blog. I need to lose weight, but knowing it is different to getting on and doing something about it. So go you! Hope you are successful :)
