Pushing Past Pain

This weekend was a tough weekend, moving furniture and boxes.  I've moved 8 times in less than that many years, and I'm sick of it.  But, things had to be cleaned out, gone through, thrown away, and donated.  Can you believe that The Salvation Army doesn't take the old big TVs?  If they don't, who will?  Anyway, I moved my butt off on Saturday for about 10 hours.

Then Sunday morning hit, and I couldn't move.

I still had one truck to unload and an office to clean.  I had to push past all those muscles that carried the TVs, the couch, chairs, tables, and more - very sore muscles.  Before you cry "Baby," just know that even though I am more active, I am still carrying a lot of weight on aging bones.  I feel like I can't get it off fast enough.  Pisses me off that I let myself get this big.

BUT, I am moving.  My body is active again.  I pushed past the pain and did it anyway.  I need to, as I'll be seeing my 85 year-old grandmother soon, and she puts me to shame on a walk!  :)
