I did SO well on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday I ate a little too much. Not really too much, but the wrong things. I'm giving myself a break for that one day - particularly after two months of logging in my food. I mean, I'm not perfect - if I was, my name wouldn't be Veronica!
It was good to talk to some of my "mothers." My mother passed a few years ago, so I was able to talk to the other women in my life that fill that role. My grandmother being one of those, and in particular, I call her on Mother's Day since my father passed 30 years ago - well, she said she was proud of me. Now, at 45, that shouldn't seem like a big deal, but it changed my whole mood and day, in general. Heck, it changed my outlook on myself. Everyone should have someone tell them they're proud. It does wonders for your self-confidence. Even at this age...
