My husband came with me to the gym, and after the elliptical, he said his legs felt like jelly. I won't say how long that took, but it was as about as much as I did last week, and for a few minutes he went backwards. I said, "You're backwards," and after he went forward, he said, "Oohhh. Yep. That's it." He learned some new machines, and I felt all smart telling him about them, and impressed him in the ab section. I love those. I feel my core getting stronger.
We've got the 5K this Saturday, the 4th, so we will need to walk a LOT this week. I did the treadmill today, but not long. The trainer told me to start with cardio, the treadmill, elliptical, etc..., but I didn't listen. I did the circuit and the elliptical, and then I thought I would be on the treadmill forever. Uh. No. I need to start with that. By the time I made it there, I was exhausted from everything else.
Tip: Listen to your trainer.
Duh.
